1. How do I enter the GP2040-CE Web Configuration menu?

2. How do I switch the active SOCD mode on my controller?

Answer: Hold down one of the following key combinations while plugging in your controller:

  • Up Priority Mode (U+D=U, L+R=N): Press HOME + START + UP
  • Last Input Priority Mode: Press HOME + START + LEFT

3. Why did my joystick's Up and Down directions suddenly invert while Left and Right are normal?

Answer: You accidentally activated the Y-axis inversion mode (used for flight simulation games).

  • To fix it: Press START + HOME + RIGHT ARROW (→) simultaneously to restore normal directions.

4. How do I use and activate the Turbo function?

Answer:

  • To activate: Hold down the action button you want to repeat (e.g., Light Punch), then press the Turbo button.
  • To cancel: Hold down the already turboed button (e.g., Light Punch), then press the Turbo button again.

5. How do I restore my Vertibox to its default layout with dual "Up" buttons?

Answer: A factory reset wipes the custom Vertibox profile and disables the dual-input feature. To map Pin 16 as your additional right-hand "Up" button, you must restore the Vertibox configuration:

  • Download: Get the default layout profile here.
  • Connect: Hold your Web Config button, plug the controller into your PC, and open http://192.168.7.1 in your browser.
  • Navigate: Go to Configuration > Data Backup and Restoration.
  • Upload: Click Load, select the downloaded file, and upload it.
  • Finish: Save and reboot to reactivate the Dual Directional Input add-on for Pin 16.

6. I press the Turbo button in the Windows controller tester and it does not respond. Why?

Answer: The Turbo button functions exclusively in-game. It will not register or show inputs inside the native Windows testing panel.

7. What does the "STA" label on the PCB mean?

Answer: "STA" stands for the Start button. Its name changes depending on the system you play on:

  • PlayStation: Labeled as the Options button.
  • Xbox: Labeled as the Menu button.

8. What does the "SEL" label on the PCB mean, and what does it do in Street Fighter 6 (SF6)?

Answer: "SEL" stands for the Select button. Its physical name depends on your console ecosystem:

  • PlayStation: Called the Create (or Share) button.
  • Xbox: Called the View (or Back) button.

9. How do I put the GP2040-CE into Bootloader Mode to upgrade the firmware?
